I m sure you ve heard it before but here s your official reminder to always hang your curtain rods high and wide.
Hang curtains on walls.
Allow about 3 inches on each side of the window.
You can use adhesive hooks or a tension rod to hang up curtains without a drill.
If you hang your rods to look like they re hugging the window it makes the window and as a result pretty much the entire room feel smaller.
I managed to hang them wide by placing the brackets on the edge of the window and allowing the rod to stick out further but you are stuck having to hang them directly on top of the window.
Mark the wall with a pencil to indicate this area.
Do hang your curtains close to the ceiling.
The downside to hanging these curtains without damaging the wall was i couldn t hang them high.
If you don t want to damage your walls or are renting a place where modifications aren t allowed it might seem like hanging up curtains isn t an option.
